The £190 one has a more "tapered" back - adjustable height headrest, lumbar support and seat depthMazintim said:
@karenburton1305 that chair looks lovely and very well priced. I wish i had seen this prior, however i went for something from the oddball Ikea instead as lots of other users had mentioned previously. It wasn't somewhere i'd thought about initially but a family friend in a similar position recommended it also, which was the tipping point for me. I toyed between the JÄRVFJÄLLET - RRP £190 and Markus - RRP £179, but honestly, I couldn't tell much - if any, difference between the two.
The £179 one doesn't
The arm rest design is also quite different
The £190 one just needs adjustable arm rests and it could very easily compete and be comparable with more expensive chairs

That would be the dream, but definitely wouldn't bank on that either aha!tafelmoneysaver said:A shame you were misinformed on SecretLabs because they start at £299 and go up to £449. I bought one back in March 2020 and my back is very grateful 🙏Still hoping I can claim the tax back in my tax return but not banking on it 😕
Maybe once this one eventually dies out I can look into a Secret Labs chair. I guess I will have some time so save up! £299 was just out of my price range still though

Hmm, maybe for the extra few squids I should have taken the plunge. Either way, no point fretting about it now, the Markus is still great and much better than what I was on before :P two weeks in and my back feels cured!JamoLew said:
