Gaming chair recommendations please!

Hey guys, i've been working from home since March with no sign of returning back to the office any time soon. I've been set up from my dining room table with these oak chairs that have just destroyed my back.
I'm sat on the computer all day from 7am-6pm and could really do with something more supportive. My budget is around £200 for something decent. I'm not keen on faux leather. Ultimately for that price range i would hope for something that's good quality, will last a long time, and be comfortable.
Goes without saying that it needs to support my back well, have arm rests and a strut to lower/raise when needed.
Thanks in advance for all your help,
Mo

I would say you would be better off getting a good office chair, not a gaming chair. Have a look at the Ikea office chairs, they are well made, good value and last. I have one of the below in the office and the other at home and despite at points spending 12+ hours a day sat in it I always find both very comfortable.

I also have an IKEA Markus chair and can recommend it. I've had it for 6 months and not looked back. I have the faux leather version as the fabric version wasn't in stock and I really needed a chair. I find it's well made and comfortable to sit in for long periods.0

Unless those lumbar supports are very adjustable - I would recommend you try before you buy.
My wife bought one of those Flintans (without trying) and that support caused way more problems than it solved.
It lasted a week1 -
Depends how much you throw yourself around in it ahahaha - my brother's chairs don't last very long because he gets so animated during his games!
I recently bought this desk chair from Argos - really comfy and looks great too! I have the pink one but they do grey too!1 -
One of the best chairs is Secret Lab chairs but a chair from them costs £650 - it's the most comfortable chair I've ever had - I use it at least 12 plus hours per day and so it's worth the investment for me.

I have a Noble Hero - great bit of kit that is over 2 years old, used for thousands of hours and still as good as new.
But then people try telling me I have wasted my money and can buy one just as good for £100
I disagree, buy what suits you, is in your budget and 100% try before you buy1 -

I digress.... I originally found a Riotoro Spitfire gaming chair which looked decent and ticked the boxes however i wasn't sure on if it was genuine as i'd never ordered off this website before. The wife also wasn't keen on having this in the house as it "doesn't fit the decor"...
@karenburton1305 that chair looks lovely and very well priced. I wish i had seen this prior, however i went for something from the oddball Ikea instead as lots of other users had mentioned previously. It wasn't somewhere i'd thought about initially but a family friend in a similar position recommended it also, which was the tipping point for me. I toyed between the JÄRVFJÄLLET - RRP £190 and Markus - RRP £179, but honestly, I couldn't tell much - if any, difference between the two.
If anything i found the Markus arm rests felt more sturdy, as well as being slightly cheaper. If someone knows the true differences between them other than shape, i'd be grateful.
Overall i'm now over a week into Markus ownership and man, what a difference this makes ladies and gents! My back is no longer in agony, it seems very sturdy, has great adjustability, and is well built. The chair base is faux leather, but it seems very good quality and hard wearing compared to some of the other cheap leather reproductions.
My one concern is/was the durability of the mesh backing. So far this is holding up well and I don't see any problems arising. The back is very breathable, so even if it did suffer some slight wear and tear, it would probably be worth it for a bit of heat control the summer months alone!
Thanks again for all the help

Glad you found something that suits.
Nothing worse than an uncomfortable chair0 -
A shame you were misinformed on SecretLabs because they start at £299 and go up to £449. I bought one back in March 2020 and my back is very grateful 🙏Still hoping I can claim the tax back in my tax return but not banking on it 😕0
