Horizon Parking Gordon and Noble

Hi all wondering if you can assist. Last year I parked in the local co up car park and got PCNs which I ignored. 3 on 1 vehicle and 3 in another vehicle both registered to my other half and not me.
I have a year later received 2 letters for the separate vehicles stating we owe £330 x 2 for both vehicles.
it said the letter is a notice to start legal proceedings in my local sherif court.

My other half knows nothing about it and I am wondering if I should just ignore and see if I hear anything else.
has anyone had similar ?

Lots of people in Scotland get these , but there is no POFA in Scotland yet , so no keeper liability
Read the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum , especially post 4
Come back if the sheriff court contact you5 -
In what nation within the UK does the keeper reside? I am guessing the answer is not going to be England or Wales: the clue being "Sheriff Court".
I do not understand how the driver can have received anything if no previous contact has been made. Only the keeper will be involved at this stage unless the driver's identity has been revealed to the scammers.
In most cases, it is not a good idea to tell the world who was driving, not even on this open forum that parking scammers monitor.
Has the keeper read the sticky thread for NEWBIES yet? This will answer most of your questions as well as ones you have not yet thought about.
Is this a real LBC giving 30 days to pay and including income forms, or is a powerless debt crawler letter giving some shorter time to pay?
In Scotland a keeper cannot (yet, but the law is about to change) be held liable for a scamvoice from an unregulated parking scammer.

No need for a link. At the top of the forum thread list index (from where you access this thread of yours), there are 5 'Announcements' (shown in garish red rectangular blocks). It's one of those. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Look at the list of threads found there.
Amongst the first five threads on that list there is one with the word NEWBIES in capitals.
That's the thread you are looking for.2 -
When you find the NEWBIES that was just underneath the New Thread button and asks everyone to read it first, look for the specific information about Scotland.

Hey! I know this is from March but did you ever receive a court summons? I got a letter nearly 2 weeks ago from Gordon & Noble about fines from Asda saying the same thing, that proceedings will start in my local sheriff court0

Gordon and Noble are known on here, so you could search out the previous threads - basically they have form for being very insistent and making it up as they go along.
It is still the situation that if they can't identify the driver, their chances of taking action are slim to nonexistent - So do not give them any hint. That won't change until the new provisions come into force and it won't be retrospective.
