Ticket was redacted. The VRN removed to protect from preying eyes. The VRN was input correctly and although there are 2 blank vertical lines caused by the printer, you can still see that is correct.Coupon-mad said:The P&D ticket doesn't seem to have the VRM on it, so did the driver type it into the keypad?0 -
PDT monies normally go to the landowner, so I suspect it will be their VaT number on the receipt. However, the OP now has an idea who the landowner is, so can now complain to them about the failed PDT machine.D_P_Dance said:Nothing to do with Parking Eye then?I married my cousin. Last time I heard of a "VAT receipt" was when I worked in a petrol station, never for a PDT.Coupon-mad said:Show us a photo of the 'VAT Receipt'. I've never heard of this. Sounds like a machine malfunction or test.

The landowner might well be aware (or have records) of the machine failure(s) or upgrades around the time of the parking event. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Thank you for providing that. I too have checked this now and you are right. Parking Eye's VAT number as per their website is in fact: VAT number: 311 544 441Castle said:

I think the VAT number registered on the ticket is the land owner possibly or has ties to them.
VRN was redacted from the ticket to protect against preying eyes. Although 2 blank vertical lines are on the ticket you can still make out the VRN and it is correct.Coupon-mad said:The P&D ticket doesn't seem to have the VRM on it, so did the driver type it into the keypad?

I thought that when I first looked but I think it is under the scribble redaction.Coupon-mad said:The P&D ticket doesn't seem to have the VRM on it, so did the driver type it into the keypad?2
