Short term lease deals 12 / 18 months

As it is difficult to buy a second hand car at the moment I am thinking of leasing - just to see if I like it so Im going to try leasing. I have found a Peugeot 2008 deal for 160 pound a month after the initial rental, which doesn't seem too bad.  Are there any websites that anyone can recommend for shorter term leases? I just dont want to be stuck in a long term lease and I need a car asap.

Depends on how long you want the car for.  If you go for a lease deal, make sure you're fully aware of any hidden costs - e.g. you say £160 a month for the Peugeot, but is there a deposit, are you free to return the car at any time without penalty?

If it's for a very short period, take a look at any of the well-known car-rental firms (Hertz, Avis, local independents, whatever).  Most of them will offer "long-term" rentals, where "long-term" means longer than the few days most people want, but up to a few weeks.  May work out cheaper in the long run.

Avis do longer term hires than a month.  I'm guessing other firms may do so also.
