Emirates has launched a quite amazing offer of a two or three night free hotel stay in Dubai presumably aimed at getting customers to book and travel in the coming months.

Economy customers booking return flights to Dubai by March 28 and travelling by June 30 will get a two night stay at the JW Marriott Marquis. This rises to a three night stay plus a free room upgrade for those booking business or first class tickets.

Clearly a bit of a gamble for UK travellers as we can't travel until 17 May for leisure travel and also at the moment UAE is on the Red list for UK quarantine but perhaps a punt for mid to late June travel. Emirates also have a travel waiver policy in place if travel is not possible so best to read up on that if interested to ensure that it suits your circumstances.

If travelling to UAE on business this might be a good way to keep your business travel expenses down and the JW Marriott is a good option.

Bookings must be made at least 72 hours prior to arrival, and the offer is only valid on new booked return flights to Dubai (transiting / stopover tickets or those with a final Emirates flights destination outside of Dubai are not eligible).

A high risk punt to take.  Either lose your money if you can't travel or risk still having to quarantine for 2 weeks at your own expense if you do travel.

I would agree this deal is a speculative punt but I don't believe you will lose your money.  EK have a fairly generous travel wavier if you wish to change travel plans (although you would probably not get offered the free hotel again).

Agree that the current required hotel quarantine for returning travellers would be a show stopper for most at the moment but reviews of which countries are on the Red list are frequent. Hopefully by mid June DXB > UK would be back to a degree of normality.
