Morning all,
Hope everyone is staying safe in these crazy times..
I was looking for advice really.. I'm due to go on maternity in July - my full pay will pay out until October when my last payment of my loan goes out. From October onwards I'm on SMP, has anyone contacted credit card companies and successfully been able to reduce minimum payments just whilst on maternity?

Hi,
I'm starting maternity next month and will get SMP for part of my time off. I don't have experience of this as I don't have any debts (other than mortgage). I haven't ever heard of credit card companies reducing the minimum payments though. Are you on 0% interest? If not, look to do a balance transfer as that will help you greatly. Not sure I can offer much for advice sorry.0 -
