Stonebridge College Cancellation

I signed up to a course with Stonebridge College in November last year, I have been trying to study the course for the past couple of months. Unfortunately the tutor support is almost none existent and they are very unprofessional when you do message them, the way I have been spoken to via emails is not acceptable. I have asked to cancel the course and the monthly payments towards it as I'm very unhappy with the service they've given me. They have refused to cancel the course and want to continue to charge me £120 a month for it which I'm not willing to pay.
I have informed them that I didn't sign the initial agreement for the course so they have got no rights to continue taking payments from me. Is there anything I can do as I didn't sign the agreement?

You don't need to have signed a contract for it to be in effect. You're paying fees and the course is being provided, so a contract is in place. Do not stop making payments, that will just cause a secondary problem.
What's the college's published complaints policy and have you followed it?1 -
I am sorry you are in this situation. Unfortunately these courses seem able to take money and its up to you to find out beforehand if they are any good, provide the support they say, pass rates etc. I did all this with a course and still found it wasn't as I'd been told.
But its very difficult to prove they aren't providing the service they said they would. Its usually something that isn't specifically covered in the contract as in your case, email support.
I'm afraid they are providing the course content and unless you can prove its totally inappropriate you haven't a chance of getting your money refunded unless there is a clause in the contract (which we can't see) you can use. Normally they have iron clad contracts though. I paid a lot of money, and didn't get a bean back.
The only thing I can suggest is try and find a forum to do with the subject you are studying or other online resources for support.0
