No surviving trustee left. Life insurance Absolute trust-Who is legal personal representatives?

This is about Life insurance: Absolute trust.
If the last trustee of the trust dies, insurance company website suggested that "If the trustee was the last surviving trustee, their legal personal representatives will have the power to appoint additional trustees or take over as trustees themselves."
My question is "Who is legal personal representatives of the last surviving trustee? (Is it a siblings, mother and father, child, or lawyer, or person who has name in a will that has power as above?)
Also, "does this legal personal representatives need a get any documents from a court? ie. a grant of representation to deal with trust??"
Many thanks.

I would have thought it would be the executor/administrator of their estate. They would have a grant of probate/representation, giving them authority to act.#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3662

^ that's it exactly. The problem is, if you don't have a will in place then you don't nominate your executor/administrator and therefore that person may choose a trustee who you feel is inappropriate. That can be why it's better to have 2 trustees so avoid the likelihood of there being no trustees left at all.2
