Extra delivery not picked up

Background-
For Xmas parents bought me a 2 planter/bench from Charles Taylor then for birthday they bought the extension set. However on deliver they delivered the full set again. Both father and I have contacted them to notify them of the error and said that they would arrange collection. That was approx 2 weeks ago with no sign of movement. Just wondering what happens if they do not collect and timelines that this would occur?
Obviously following up, but in the meantime thanks for your help

You don't get to keep them, which is what you were hoping to hear I'm sure.

If they don't collect then it will still just sit there. Not much else! It doesn't become your property at any point and you've got a duty to take reasonable care of it until they do pick it up.

Get your father to write to them to say that they should collect at a mutually convenient time in the next 14 days, or he will sell the item.  They have up to six years to claim the proceeds from your father and he shouldn't give it away for nothing or an unreasonably cheap price.  Alternatively, you could keep it and use it, but in the knowledge that the retailer can pursue your father for the value of the item at any point in the next six years.

If it's not particularly valuable, you may get lucky and they decide to just let you keep it rather than them incurring the cost of collection and re-sale.

I was assuming that it's the OP who has custody of the item, but maybe not.
