Chemical-based treatment for moss and weeds

Can anyone suggest a decent chemical-based lawn treatment and fhe best way to go about it?  For example, is it better to use a combined weed/feed/mosskiller or do it separately?  I don't mind a bit of physical work but there's too much of it to hand weed/rake and I won't be peeing in the garden.  I've read the similarly titled thread on organic treatments so no need to repeat these arguments.  I'm not looking for a bowling green, just something that's mostly grass.  An equivalent to the rosate 360 I use elsewhere would be nice.  ;)

There are so many different lawn treatments out there from cheap chemicals to expensive products. One that I have used is called Greenforce lawn gold it works slowly but it does get the job done & it is middle of the road regarding pricing.

Greenforce Lawn Gold is simply an organic fertiliser, with no direct chemical action against moss.  It will help the grass grow and outcompete the moss, as will any cheap fertiliser.  Greenforce Weed Feed & Mosskiller contains ferrous sulphate which is a chemical moss-killer and is the active ingredient in most products currently marketed as lawn moss-killers.

Personally, I miss Sodium Dichlorophen which is no longer available as a lawn moss-killer, but available in other garden formulations if you want to experiment.

I've got a spray for individual weeds called Resolva. Had to pay more than I wanted from the garden centre but it does work on broadleaved weeds in the lawn.
Bit of a nuisance to trawl doing them but I have hopes it worth it.
I tried a Miracle Gro pellet lawn/weed/moss killer and it didn't do anything. Never have much luck with that brand for anything.
You won't do my other suggestion but in 3 weeks I have thick green grass and dead moss ;)
You can see which bit has been treated.

That's a spectacular difference, you obviously have a tremendously healthy diet. I'm impressed on both the gardening and the money saving fronts and will remember this for the future.

Can't say it's chemical though in answer to the op's question.
Iooked up the constituents and then what was in the lawn feed and its the same including where it comes from.
Broad leaved weeds have to be delt with but if you have thick strong grass they shouldn't come back so much. I leave the daisies.
And no, my lockdown diet is dreadful. Perhaps it's the alcohol content that kills the moss.

2p, your Resolva spray for individual weeds is probably their pelargonic acid formulation, which is arguably no better or worse than using vinegar.  It might be worth comparing prices with cheap supermarket vinegar to see if you can achieve the same effect cheaper (so that you can afford to take another shower! :) )

Thanks, cheap vinegar is 60p a half ltr. I know because I took to using it when white vinegar spray disappeared from the shops this year.
Online said it was too low in acid or something but I've used it for a year and does the same job.
I'll do a little experiment as I have to start again thanks to the rain and let you know. I need such things with this long lockdown like sitting and watching the grass grow :)
