Beware of AVIVA via CO****ED.COM and other comparison sites...!!

We need to be fully aware of catches with Aviva car Insurance . I had bitter experience so sharing with others not to be fooled  when you see low price with comparison sites like CO****ED.COM for Aviva

1. Excess if not Used 'Aviva Approved Repairer' – £200 excess if you are not using Aviva approved repairer for any work!! But If you ask Aviva to share Approved list of repairers in your area they will not have a list to share !! But they are happy to give incorrect vague statements like 'many BMW/Audi/Merc/Jag dealers are in our approved list!!' If you ask to name one in your area they don't have one to name!! Many new cars have condition that if not repaired by a dealer warranty will be VOID, I know BMW, Merc & Audi got this, may be most of them in first 3 years. So in effect if you want to keep to manufacturer warranty you will go to a dealer workshop, that means your excess will be minimum £200+ voluntary excess, How clever is Aviva in deceiving customers!!

2. How actually Aviva 'Authorised repairer' system work??  The reason why they don't have an 'approved repairer list ' is.>> In case accident and you raise a claim Aviva locally take quotes from repairers/body shops and the cheapest quote will be your
Authorised Aviva Repairer, as simple as that!! So you will end-up repair you under warranty newish car with cheapest quote repairer. This repairer is cheapest because of their poor quality work no customers going back to them and they quote lowest to Aviva knowing they can cut corners with poor quality work.

3. Aviva got a CLEVER solution if you question this ie if you keep renew Aviva policy you will get warranty for the work done by this cheapest/poor quality workshop!! But there is another clever trick....If you make a claim with Aviva their renewal quote will be astronomical and Aviva will make sure you pay for re-repairing shady work done by the cheapest repairer. In effect Aviva will ensure you will not take their renewal quote and forced to take another insurer thus that warranty for cheapest repairer’s shady work is VOID as you are no more an Aviva customer. Clever!!

4. If you go with C****SED.COM or any comparison site then you will not be able to call customer service, you only have email/online only which they will ensure not give proper response and will not respond after first round of exchanges. In effect you donot have any means to contact them either. Clever again Aviva!! Well done!!

WELL DONE AVIVA!!

WELL DONE CO****ED.COM
