Specsavers hearing aids again

Hi all, I appreciate I’ve been here already with this query but can’t find my thread. Mum has some very expensive hearing aids bought from specsavers, she bought them in October 2020, and has been back 5 times so far with them not working right. I emailed a complaint and they’ve said they’ll send them back to the manufacturer to see if they’re faulty and offer a 10% refund. ( laughable)
anyway she is very upset by this and feels taken advantage of. They were £1400!
They have never worked properly and every time she’s said so they’ve told her they need time to adjust.
we are due in on Thursday when they will be sending them off.
where do we stand if they’re faulty? Can we have a full refund or do we have to have a repair/ replace?
and where do we stand if they’re not found to be faulty? ( which I’ll be amazed by but you never know).
She’s 85, hard of hearing ( obviously) and does as she’s told - any ‘ health professional’ must be obeyed!
I appreciate the idea of a section 75, but what steps must we take first?
Thank you so very much again.

If you have proof that they are faulty and a repair has been attempted 5 times and they are still faulty, your mother has the legal right to reject then and get a full refund.

Thanks. Each time she’s gone back they haven’t ‘repaired’ them as such. They’ve adjusted them or told her to give them chance to adjust.
I just want to be sure of my rights on Thursday.
