New laptop battery?

I’m needing a new laptop battery as old one has packed in. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite Pro L670 14-M which battery model number do I need for this? The old one says PA3634U-1BAS but that was also a replacement from the original. I believe I did match the current model to the original but I just want to be sure can anyone confirm the right model battery for my laptop before I buy the replacement?

No I only need a standard battery. I just would like to know the exact battery model number for that laptop so I’m buying the correct one.

Use the existing battery number off the battery you have?

A laptop can probably take various battery numbers, the only difference will be the capacity size normally.

There is a bewildering array of part numbers. Some may have higher or lower rating. For instance there is also PA3634U-1BRS that is compatible.
