Can't use Curve to deposit into NS&I any more?

Transactions Declined, but show as completed in the Curve app, and as pending on the underlying card. Hopefully will be reversed in a few days. 
Tried two different underlying cards, both Declined. Tried directly on a Debit Card, and worked fine. Tried again via Curve - Declined. 
Slightly annoying, because the available balance on the underlying cards has been reduced, but the money isn't in NS&I.

    My guess is you haven't activated Curve-fronted payments (which are opt out by default as they incur additional fees)?

    No, it's not Curve Fronted. When a transaction is declined due to Curve Fronted not being enabled, you get a notification to this effect in the Curve app, and the transaction never hits the underlying card.

    These declined NS&I transactions are showing as completed normally in Curve, and as Pending transactions on the underlying cards. Similar transactions using the same underlying cards worked last week.

    I have tried both Credit and Debit underlying cards. Will try again tomorrow in case its a transient thing.

    Is your address registered with curve the same as the address registered with NS&I?  They must match, or they'll decline in this way.

    Good thought, but I'm pretty sure it can't be that because I haven't changed anything since last week when it worked perfectly.
    I went to confirm, but I can't find my address in the Curve app to check it.

    Tried again today - still not working. Declined in the same way. 
    Can anyone else deposit into NS&I via Curve now? It was working for me last week so it's a very recent change.

    I just tried card declined. And I have curved Metal (Debt card underlying)

    Ah, the last few posts in this thread seem to have the explanation. Looks like Curve are aware of the problem and are investigating. Fingers crossed.

    This is the response from curve's in app chat "We approved the transaction however, NS&I then declined it. We charged your card when the transaction was approved and then refunded it immediately once it was declined. You should see the refund reflected back in your bank account in the next 1-2 working days, but depending on your bank it might take up to 5 days.

    It’s not clear why it declined, as this can be because the internet connection has dropped, there were details discrepancies or there was an issue on the side of NS&I"
