Netflix - Double payment. Refusing to return money

I fully concede the amount of money is small but at the end of the day its my money.
I was paying Netflix £11.99 a month for the UHD package. On discovering (late at usual) that I could get the same package via Sky for £5 I moved over to paying by Sky. This meant for Feb that for a period of the month I had paid Netflix twice. Latest Sky payment was today so I checked Netflix account which was showing a £4.71 credit. Better in my pocket than theirs so I went onto online chat to ask for it to be paid back to my card.
They refused and said that they could not do that as there was no system in place to allow a refund. It would remain as a credit on my account and when I left Sky it would kick in for Netflix use for a short period of time. I pointed out it was my money as I had overpaid them in Feb but they were having none of it. They system says no, the supervisor says no and that there is nothing I can do.
I could of course have waiting until the last time of my old billing period and moved then but I didn't think there would be an issue and given I was on the phone to Sky anyway at the time after a long wait to get through it made more sense just to go ahead.
Anyone else had this issue.

I suspect there's something in the terms about timing. To be honest, I'm pleasantly surprised there was a credit. I haven't read the terms myself but would have assumed you pay for the complete month and that's it. If the terms are that they allow a credit for a part-used month but not a "cash" refund, those are the terms.3
