I have a VPN facility on my phone and my contract allows was unlimited data in the UK and 4gb in Europe roaming. If i was to switch on the VPN and set to a UK setting would my mobile provider think i was in UK and my unlimited data be applied or would it know for data purposes i was abroad? I realise that my mob operator is aware I’m on a foreign call network but old this work........
It pays to challenge

No, they know where you are sending data from regardless of what you tunnel it through.

No.
The VPN tunnel carrying the traffic from your phone in Europe to a VPN endpoint in the UK will still count toward your roaming allowance.
A dream is not reality, but who's to say which is which?0 -
No, They will know your device location, And build-in vpn never works, if they would then vpn providers never get their audience easily.0
