    Given how a person signature changes over time, it is not easy.... Remember banks (staff) very rarely see people now, signing for anything is even rarer.

    Been there done that on cheques people had placed stops on the book and then found and then used. best test was to turn them upside down. But not easy when original is on a computer and no way to rotate.

    If you check the link in my previous post 11 March at 7:09PM.  RBS site tells you their procedure. Attendance is not required as the vast majority of cases the person can not attend.
