Hi need some advise please.
My 16 year old daughter was on DLA, have just been awarded PIP high rate mobility and care. She will not travel on public transport due to mental health. I applied for a provisional licence with DVLA so ready for August when 17. It said if on higher rate mobility can learn to drive at 16. Has anyone done this please?
Thanks xx

I haven't personally but yes you can, although when filling out the driving licence form you must tick the relevant box, if you didn't then the licence won't be valid until she's 17. https://www.drivingmobility.org.uk/information/first-time-drivers/1a-applying-for-your-first-provisional-driving-licence/
