Remove paint over K-Rend or repaint?

Hello all!
I purchased my house around 2 years ago and it's around 10 years old now. The render is K-Rend although the previous owner had the house painted where it was discolouring instead of having them cleaned with an algae cleaner. The other half, I had professionally cleaned when I moved in and came back lovely! The paintwork now though on the other half is looking "grubby" and flaking in some areas so needs addressing.
Is it possible to remove the paint from the K-Rend? And then get it professionally cleaned again? Or, am I stuck with having to repaint?
Thanks all

I think you're probably stuck with it. I imagine it would be quite difficult to remove the paint sufficiently without causing damage to the underlying render.0

We have K rend and use a mild bleach detergent and broom. It lasts about 3 years before anything comes back to 'stain' it and having lived here nearly 20 years it hasn't had any detrimental effect. I don't know about removing paint from it as the colour in K rend is part of the process. Anything 'painted' over the top would probably be removed by a professional company and although that may cost, it should mean you can deal with it normally going forward.0

Power wash, fungicide, the a paint like ProPerla done with the right contractor. If your property has a lichen tendancy due to north facing walls, damp, trees over hanging, its hard to stop it.0
