Jaja and balance transfers

Anyone else having issues trying to transfer a balance from Jaja to another card? Jaja have told me it’s because jaja are not recognised by visa and they don’t know when they will be. I have a promotional offer from HSBC that ends at the end of March and have been waiting two months now for Jaja to be recognised by visa. What is taking so long!

If you still have it, try using your old Post Office/AA credit card number to do the transfer.
A number of people have been successful doing a BT this way if you read through some of the recent threads about it.
  • Thank you. Unfortunately I don’t have it anymore. It’s very annoying!
  • Check your old statements or bills, might be on there, or even saved somewhere like paypal
  • Thanks I’ve just remembered I have a photograph. So are they still linked? I know this worked for people a while back but didn’t know if it still would!

I just wondered if you tried to use your old post office credit card number and if it worked? I’m in exactly the same position and wondering if I should use the old credit card number. I guess if it doesn’t work the money won’t go anywhere so worth a shot to be rid of jaja.
  • I made a sub £2k transfer to my NatWest CC on Feb 1st no problem. My gripe with JaJa is they haven't updated any of the CRA's since Nov last year.
I'm writing a book on plagiarism. It wasn't my idea.
  • Thank you!!
  • I am still trying to transfer my jaja credit card  amount to First Direct card since 3rd February..Dont have details of my original post office card.Jaja are blaming banks for not updating jajas Bank Identification Number so will not help me anymore..awaiting update from First Direct from 3rd May will be paying interest on Jaja account aaggghhh

I have had the same problem. But in one of the other threads someone mentioned you can get your old Post Office credit card number off your old paper bill. It is at the bottom on the cheque part and it says it’s your account number, but it’s actually your card number. Even though they asterisk your card number out at the top of the bill (go figure).

ive just put that into my new Sainsbury’s card for a balance transfer and it is now being checked and processed (and actually already showing as pending on my app)

whwnever I’ve tried the JAJA car sits been rejected instantly.

May be worth getting a money transfer card if you can, could at least use that to pay off the debt (or in part)
