Account transfer to Virgin Mobile

Hi, As you all know M&S bank is closing all current accounts. Thought I would get in early and open a Virgin current account, (yes the wine did help to persuade me). This next bit has been copied from MSE webpage,  Apply for account online, then within 31 days – complete a switch (including at least two direct debits), download and register for the mobile banking app, and add £1,000 to the linked savings account (and keep it there until you get your Virgin Wines code) I opened account and started a full switch for 22/3/21. All good so far, but when I went to download the mobile banking app, it says that it's only available for i phone and i pad. Now I have only got an android phone, so will this stop me from getting the free wine code. I can log into my new account on my computer, but it's just the not being able to download the banking app. Thanks in advance for any replies

What phone do you have? I have the app on my Android so it's definitely available but may not support all models.

BTW I'd definitely suggest switching to Virgin Money for a current account, I don't think Virgin Mobile will offer a very good current account experience :)
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

Ha Ha, Thanks jimjames, yes I do agree with you a Virgin Money account would be better  :) I've got a Samsung Galaxy A51 phone. I will give it another go now. Thanks for your reply
