What is the maximum amount and maximum hours allowed.
Is maximum hours 16 or is up to 16, so 15.5 hours..
Also what is maximum earnings allowed ie is it 16hours* £8.91/hr...
Or is it less than that ??
I been offered a job which they say they happy pay me to limit I can earn currently but just was asking if anyone knows the exact maximum amount and if it is at minimum wage - are you allowed to do the full 16 hours or is it less than 16 hours.
I can't work it out myself
Anyhow be greatly appreciated if anyone can advise myself with regards to this...

Permitted work is less than 16 hours per week and earnings are £140 per week after deductions. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/employment-and-support-allowance-permitted-work-form/permitted-work-factsheet These rules only apply if you are the ESA claimant.Do be aware though that if the work you do contradicts the reasons why you're claiming ESA then you could be reassessed early and the decision could go against you once it's made.

The earnings limit will increase from £140 to £143 In April.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0

I just wondered where OP got the '15 and a half' idea from - I know most places don't do contracts for quite such specific minutes as 59! But you could very plausibly find a job that worked out to be 15hrs 45mins. E.g. 5 1/2 hrs with an unpaid 15min break, 3 days a week = 5hrs 15 x3.poppy12345 said:1
