Co-op bank website problem

I'm
trying to apply for an Everyday Extra a/c at the coop bank website but. when I get to the final
step to submit the application - after about 15 minutes - I get the
message "There was an error communicating with the server, please try
again. If this problem persists please contact us." It still happened
2nd time (after another 15 minutes as the website doesn't seem to save
information previously submitted). Tried this on 3 different up to date browsers - Chrome, Firefox and Edge - with the same result so I've already spent an hour on this. I've an Acer laptop using Windows 10 and Wi-fi and never had any problem like this before. I have contacted them and they said they're not aware of any problem on their website. Any suggestions ?

If you've given Co-Op a call and they don't have any record of your application then I'd wait a few days and try again. Make sure to clear all cookies and disable adblocks/VPN software as I've had these break banking websites on occasion. Short of that, you can always make an appointment to submit an application over the phone if you desperately want the account.0

I have accounts with several banks and never had any experience like this before . I've tried all you say with same result, also tried on another computer at a relative's with same result. I even clicked on the feedback button but it goes to a page saying "Sorry, this survey is now closed. Thank you for your time." ! Website seems to have lots of glitches, the alphabetical list of waived medical conditions on travel insurance only goes up to letter U as well. When I phoned they suggested a branch visit or do it by phone, they don't seem concerned they may have lost potential customers through this issue.

Today got a response through their FB page that their IT team haven't been able to provide a resolution to this as of yet and I'll have to apply by phone.....
