Which banks do Bankers Drafts? Does anyone know if the they put the customers address ie my address on the Bankers Draft?

They all should.
No, it's like a normal cheque so payee name and amount, but comes out your account straight away when it's done by the bank / building society.

I can imagine that the new toytown banks don't offer them but I might have expected the traditional banks to still offer banker's drafts.1 -
I don't know of any banks that issue bank drafts anymore. Also the same with international bank drafts. Payments tend to be done electronically.0

Unless you're prepared to open an account with a new bank specifically for the purpose of issuing a draft, surely the question should actually be: does anyone know if specific Bank A (maybe B & C too) does them, rather than expecting people to summarise the entire market?W40vet said:Which banks do Bankers Drafts?7
