Good morning folks I hope you're well. I'm thinking of buying a door bell which supports 2.4G Hz WiFi only. What does that mean and will it effect my WiFi connection? Thanks

Basically it means it connects to your WiFi and may be able to be controlled via an app on your mobile phone.  It will have virtually no impact on your WiFi.  The 2.4MHz is the standard speed (your router may also support 5Mhz).

We have the Ring3 doorbell.  I have found their app to be a little hit or miss - sometimes it doesn't ring my mobile phone at all, other times it contacts me about 1 minute after the person hit the button (and they have usually gone) ... other times it works fine.
