My 'real' favourites are Fairytale of New York (Pogues & Kirsty) or Santa Claus is Coming to Town (Broooooce Springsteen).

But for comedy value, in our family we love singing along stupidly with 'The Night Santa Went Crazy' by Weird Al Yankovic:

well I've just finished crying my eyes out along with this song never heard it before but really enjoyed it
as for my favorite I must admit to whatever my 5 year old daughter is singing at the time it just reminds me what it's all about

Ooooh, I agree - I love that song! The only version I've found I don't like atm is by Doris Day. I tried to find the version from Elf (cos I think she's got a lovely voice) and the soundtrack one isn't her
