Flexible Furlough

I've been working one day less due to a flexi-furlough scheme since Christmas without a loss of pay along with all other employees in my workplace.
I've been un-flexi-furloughed this week.
I am the only employe (so far) that has been unfurloughed and am therefore working one day extra than all other employees in the company.
Does this give me any extra entitlement to Annual Leave/pay?
ie I would have to use 4 days Annual Leave to take those four days off this month whilst all my colleagues don't.

  • You're working your contractual hours and therefore are due to receive your contractual pay, benefits and holiday entitlement. Why would you expect more when your employer has already been generous enough to uplift your furlough pay to your contractual pay at a cost to themselves when they have obviously been financially impacted by the pandemic? You can, of course, ask for more but I wouldn't expect them to look kindly on you for doing so.

No, it does not entitle you to any extra leave or pay.

Your colleagues are not on holiday and have to remain  available if their employer requires them to work.
You will not have to do that if you are on holiday.
