HI folks

I have decking with ridges and want to lay artificial grass on it

I have been advised to lay plywood below the grass to stop the ridges showing through. How will that dry out will it not rot

or does the underlay stop it and is a better option

I think you would need Marine plywood, which is treated & presumably the "grass" is porous so the ply would dry out in summer

Should really be marine ply with an underlay. Without I think you'll regret it as it will be like walking on wood and not lawn,
