I have multiple bank accounts and have been merging them. They all went smooth apart from a merge to the TSB but nothing I could not sort out. I recommend you take a screen shot of all your direct debits and standing orders so you know what is going on. After my switch the standing orders were a complete mess with cancelled ones from the past brought back to life and multiple standing orders to the same payee. Without a screen shot I would have been lost.
