Refund refused

Last year when I was on redundancy, I thought be good to make use of my time and buy a course, I bought one from the knowledge academy, a project management course (APMPQ) and it is APM accredited so seemed legit on this basis.  They have option of e-learning (go at own pace) or virtual (week mon-fri course with lecturer), and as I was due to start a working soon, so I chose the self paced course. I paid £840. However the online portal was poor, % completion all different and incorrect, and click throughs that took you to nowhere. And the actual course content was simply a series of basic slides read out word for word (I did assume maybe some webinars of lecturers/instructors). As it was just series of slides, I could have simply bought a book. And then the slide content was also poor, some points not further clarified, and no working examples given, and some errors on the slides. Their were mini quizzes, this was poor and some errors in places. Once I'd gone through the slides I didnt feel confident in the exam at all, there wasn't even any help / hints/tips on the exam prep. The website said there was over 40 hrs of study involved, there really wasn't this much. It totally was not worth the money. The customer services couldn't offer refund and only have offered that I do the virtual course (which I now can't due to work commitments) and so also then offered recording of the virtual course (they only just sent this (initial purchased in nov - and I also I can't do this now, my workload at my new job has stacked up and I need to concentrate on that).
What can I do? I feel upset they don't accept the product really is poor, many others could also be experiencing this, and also it is so much money, so dissapointed in the product and the service, I just want refund now. They only suggest that I have to take the alternatives but i'm so appalled with the product and the follow up service I just simply want refund. I have reached out to APM who have accredited this course - to flag their is an issue and to review this accreditation and the company.

Who can I take this to, to help me seek a refund and formally complain against this company, they really need reviewing on their products they are offering?

Many thanks

Have you contacted the people who have accredited the course to see what they have to say about the standard of the courses that they are accrediting? (APM)

Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Did you assess the quality before purchasing? See a sample of the course? It sounds like they're providing the service requested, albeit not at the standard you wanted.  If it's markedly different from the sample you viewed, youve got a fair case.

Have you looked at the virtual course videos? They may be a lot better, although their offer of a live virtual course may have been an even better solution for you. Time permitting, could you just take up the offer of that course in the near future? They usually offer a range of dates.
