norton internet security, which one ?

Hi,
I was just after a bit of advice please.
My Norton internet security 2007 has expired and my husband went to pc world and asked for a replacement product.
They gave him the norton internet security 2008 UPGRADE package which cost £39.99.
I noticed that the Norton internet security 2008 non upgrade version is only £24.99 in there.
Which product is the best for my situation?
Should I just use the upgrade or start fresh with the newer, cheaper version?
Thanks in advance for any help

I used to have Norton, the £39.99 option - or about that much, until about 2 years ago.

Then I was advised to ditch it in favour or free security. I followed the advice and never looked back. So now I have:

    Sunbelt Kerio firewall
    AVG antivirus
    Ad-aware
    Spybot
    Superantispyware.

I uptdate them regularly and run them all at least once a week.
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

Norton is cr**. There are free a/v progs which do the job. Take norton back and tell them your pc has vaporised. REFUND.

If you want to pay for an all in one security suite I highly recommend the Eset Smart Suite.
