Co-op Everyday Extra a/c covid travel cover

In the packaged bank a/c info at MSE https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/best-packaged-bank-accounts/#coopeverydayextra it states what covid cover is provided with this a/c but in the travel insurance document covid isn't even mentioned http://www.co-operativebank.co.uk/assets/pdf/bank/currentaccounts/everyday-extra/travel-insurance-policy-summary-and-policy-document.pdf Maybe a document or link hasn't been updated, does anyone know if the covid cover is stated anywhere outside MSE site?

I'd trust the policy wording over anything else. Under "General Exclusions" it mentions the usual restrictions which apply to Covid:
    18. Your travel to a country or specific area or event to which the Travel Advice Unit of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office or the World Health Organisation has advised the public not to travel or are officially under embargo by the United Nations.

    19. Any claim resulting from something you knew about at the time of opening your Everyday Extra Current Account or before booking any trip and which you did not declare to the Medical Assessment Helpline on 0344 249 9981 when opening your Everyday Extra Current Account or before booking any trip.
I'd interpret this as it will cover cancellations for anything booked pre-pandemic since it was not "known" at the time. As for medical expenses, there's no specific exclusions for Covid, so I'd assume that if you get sick overseas you would presumably be covered too - assuming you don't travel against official advice.

Thanks for that, it just seemed odd to me as every other site I've looked at for travel insurance seems to highlight their covid cover (or lack of it). Assume you also think it would cover me for cancellation if I caught covid before any holiday?

If you are relying on this insurance then maybe you need to ask them directly simply because what you (or anyone else) assumes might be totally wrong.
Generally most insurers suffer  from being 'Wriggle Worts!' ie they try to get out of paying if they can!

The coop site is a bit of a disaster, the alphabetical list of waived medical conditions only goes up to U when you click on the button to view it  I knew my 'V' condition was on the policy document as a waived condition but this led me to phone AXA and they confirmed my condition was waived and also the covid cover listed by MSE
