Santander extra mortgage info

I’ve applied for a mortgage with Santander on a FTC and furlough. They’ve signed off on my payslips and a letter from my employer confirming I’ll be returning to full time employment. Santander have now asked for my P60 and information on my previous role before my current job. I have been working in my current role since 2020. Is it normal for them to ask for my P60 and what my previous role was?

Thanks. My partners payslips etc have all been signed off and they’ve not asked for any info for her so I guess I’m just worrying about nothing

Provide the info. And they will ask for anymore if needed, it is easier to just do what they ask there will always be a reason there asking there not doing it just for fun.
