PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. I’ve applied for a mortgage with Santander on a FTC and furlough. They’ve signed off on my payslips and a letter from my employer confirming I’ll be returning to full time employment. Santander have now asked for my P60 and information on my previous role before my current job. I have been working in my current role since 2020. Is it normal for them to ask for my P60 and what my previous role was?
Provide the info. And they will ask for anymore if needed, it is easier to just do what they ask there will always be a reason there asking there not doing it just for fun.
