Hello,
I submitted the wrong tax return before 23/4/20 for grant 1 (I prepared on the 5/04 and submitted 6/04 and the HMRC system then moves it to the next year (19-20 in this case instead of 18-19). I was then advised I couldnt claim the first grants becuase of this. Will I now be eligible for the fourth grant? I have a tax return submitted for 19-20. I can't find any concrete information.
Thanks for any help

Seiss 4
I have submitted a return for 2019/2020 that year I was Paye 3 months unemployed with no help , 3 months & self employed paying myself a wage 6 months so got a rebate due to my Paye tax I had payed how will I stand trying to claim Seiss 40 -
For the 50% test they will look at 2019/20 first, and if you don't pass the test, they will look at 2016/17 to 2019/20 inclusive.0

Received an email saying I didn't qualify for SEISS 4 although have qualified for 1 - 3 and income had dropped even more now. Did chat session with HMRC, chat person tells me my tax return for 2019/20 says profits of over £50k, no, never have I ever earned that, nor did I enter it on my tax return. Chat person then ends 'chat' so cannot explore further.
So call SEISS helpline, someone answers, says they dont know where the info on £50k income comes from, real reason is that my 2019/20 return says I made no profit! My income/tax returns/ tax situation has been same for a decade and same devastation from Covid over last 2 years. Where are they getting this all wrong?0 -
What profit figure did you show on form SA103 for 2019/20?0
