Parcel2go insurance claims

I packed my parcel perfectly. It was metal and still got trashed by Parcel2go. Actually Hermes but they won't have anything to do with claims made to Parcel2go. I insured it fully, the claim was rejected because I didn't have a photo of the parcel!? I have plenty of photos of the damage but not the parcel before it was sent out. I am now £100 out of pocket. Just a warning to everyone if you use these people, which I highly recommend you don't. Take a picture of your package and packaging otherwise they will reject any claims for damage. Effectively it won't be insured unless you do. Can't see that anywhere in the small print.! Also no way of replying to the rejected claim either. all I can do is complain about it publicly online! They only have an address where you can send a letter to, no phone or even online chat with a human..ridiculous. If you read the amount of complaints on their facebook page I don't know how they are still in business.

can try to scare with them a letter before action. They might cough up.
Does it says on their terms and conditions that you need to take a photo of the goods beforehand?0 -
Iffy couriers, RMSD might be the best choice for any smaller parcel Im thinking.
Just trying to find if I can use RMSD with stamps I already have, they want me to buy it online but surely stamps is still a thing0
