ok thats good to know that its a good price. once the time comes ill have it installed.
now onto question 2 regarding having central heating fitted in the property
Are there any grants or offers from providers i can lean on for getting a whole new central heating system installed? for example if a provide said we will do it half price if you have your energy through us.

    In general, no.
New gas installations are not seen as 'green' so nothing from that side of things helps.
Odds are with a new house purchase and major renovations you don't qualify for any of the 'benefits/low income' related help either.
Do find a great local company to do the work, don't go with a national organisation that subs out the work to the local guys.
... and do make sure whoever you use is properly certified and registered to install the brand of boiler you choose as that can help with the warranty.

Only the big boys are likely to offer that sort of a deal because it's not their core business, and they're seldom the cheapest for energy.
Any saving on the installations costs would doubtless be clawed back by an even more uncompetitive dual fuel tariff, probably with uncompetitive maintenance and insurance bundled in as well, so it does seem like chasing rainbows.  You only have to look at the 'Free Charger for your new EV' deals to see that they're vapourware.

If an energy company gave you a half price deal, it could be many years before they even got their money back on the deal.  Unless of course, a "half price" deal means tripling the price and then giving you a 50% discount on that.
Ask for quotes from intependent Gas Safe registered plumbers in your area.  Ideally, don't move in until the heating is done, as trades people hate doing major jobs in houses that are being lived in.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

There are grants available for houses with no heating or replacement from coal or storage heaters but I think you have to be on a low income on certain benefits to the qualify unless you for for the green home grant which wouldnt apply to gas but heat source pumps.
