Help - How do I Find a Refund to a Credit Card?

I booked a Princess Cruise in 2019 for 2021 which has been cancelled due to the current pandemic.

I paid a deposit at the time in 2019 to a Credit Card, however since that time I have closed and opened numerous cards for various reasons. Princess Cruises have now confirmed that my deposit has been refunded to my card used at the time of my booking and this payment was accepted and credited in January 2021 but are only able to provide me with the last four numbers from this card.

I have checked all the current cards I hold and none of them end with the four numbers they were able to confirm.

Therefore, how can I trace which card my deposit has been credited to so I can contact the appropriate card company to try and get this money paid directly to myself?

Check all your credit files for other cards you've held at the appropriate time.

Can you not find the invoice from when you made the payment & resolve that to a statement from that time.

One option is to call ALL the card providers you have used and ask them.
