Hi
I bought a shed from a well known Shed company and not only was one of the panels damaged on arrival, the 5L of treatment I paid for was not on the delivery. The driver took a picture of the damage, as did I and he wrote there was damage on the delivery note which I have a copy of. I asked about the 5L treatment and he said this wasn't on the delivery.
I have tried to call them twice and was on hold for 20+ minutes each time and nobody answered, I have also sent two emails with descriptions of the damage and pictures, neither of which they have replied to and its been 10 days since the delivery now.
I have nowhere to store a shed so I had to spend my own money replacing a bit of timber what was broken so I could get the shed up and also had to buy another treatment as the sheds need painting as per the instructions.
Do I need to keep contacting them or can I just go via S75 now as I paid the full balance via CC?
Thanks

Now you've erected the shed, what are you asking your credit card company to provide? A partial refund for the missing treatment?laurieballard87 said:Hi

I suppose so at this point. I waited a week after contacting the company but no response and I just can't have shed sections taking up part of the garden so I had little choice but to repair it myself.Aylesbury_Duck said:

Looking online, it seems I am not the only person who has had issues with this company.
Can I chargeback or S75 for the missing treatment?
The company is Tiger Sheds by the way, little point in not naming them at this point.0 -
I think you may have jumped the gun by erecting the shed before getting a resolution on that part. You've effectively denied the retailer a chance to resolve it. Surely a shed in kit form takes up less space than a built shed? How can you have room for the latter but not the former?
I'd have thought that yes, you can get a refund for the missing treatment. I'd write to the retailer setting out what you paid for the replacement timber and asking for a refund of that amount, too.0 -
The only option I had was to store it outside but with the British weather, I didn't want the timber to get soaked on the inside of the shed. Plus I took time off work to get the shed built to having it sitting round for ages while they supplied a replacement section simply wasn't practical but I take your point.Aylesbury_Duck said:I think you may have jumped the gun by erecting the shed before getting a resolution on that part. I will contact them again and see if they reply then go back via the card company.0 -
How much was the treatment? Or was it included in the price for the shed? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
