Spa days - help?!

Guys,
I know practically nothing sbout booking Spa days, but would like go do so for me and my partner as she keeps dropping less than subtle hints!
1. Are there any good sites to check aside from individual providers? - how do you check feedback as you would on trip advisor.
2. Can you book just like a voucher to redeem at another time?
3. Any other tips for choosing spas etc?!

Thanks in advance! - not usually one for this surprise booking stuff!

How subtle are you? Could you just drop into the conversation if she'd been before, what did she like about it, what does she like the most?
I think you can cut your search down by looking at spa treatment for couples. Some do couple treatments
As for reviews I'm thinking TripAdvisor does do reviews of those (they'd be attractions or things to do) so it would be worth looking. I always look at the Average set of reviews, that's when people give the good and the bad. Not something that the competitors or businesses do if they get reviews in.

The only normal people you know are the ones you don’t know very well

I know for a fact she's not been to a UK spa ever, only a couple on holiday with me. I've actually found quite an easy way to cut it down.. Assuming we want to do a day spa whilst our son is in nursery, or with somebody else then we can't really travel more than say 1-1.5hrs away. This restricts it considerably!

She has no clue of choices tbh, it's more a 'I think I'd enjoy this but I've never done it or know much about it' type thing! Sadly I don't have my vitality membership anymore, seems they do good discounts on Champneys
