Jaja / Post Office Issues

I hadn't tried this as couldn't even spot that on the website! I put in my letter last week that if the matter wasn't dealt with in 10 days I would contact FOS. This definitely seemed to have kicked them into doing something.JamesPeter said:Yes, Jaja are a nightmare company to deal with. I ditched them shortly after they took over from the Post Office, however my account still seems to be open and reported regularly to the CRA's despite being closed for over 5 months now! It is now with the FOS.OP - have you filled out their online complaints form:Complete it, take a screenshot and date/time it.When you don't hear anything from them after 8 weeks, send it with your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service. The FOS seem to be the only ones who can get them to do anything about complaints!Never give up the dream! :beer:0 -
Just FYI, the FOS won't really do anything with a case unless the bank have had their 8 weeks to examine the case and either given a rejection or not finished working on it. With their backlog of cases, it'll sit there for some time anyway so be mindful.gismo1554 said:

Thanks. They had had 3 months this was the final letter which WHICH said you should send to get a final solution. This whole thing has been going on since December and therefore they have had way over 8 weeks and three separate complaints about it. The letter actually appears to have been acted on within about 2 days of arriving and as of today I have actually been refunded the remaining balance to my bank account - although no response has been received from Jaja at all so who knows.Deleted_User said:

Sorry to bump an old thread...rubble2 said:Has anyone tried using a Jaja card at Tesco pay at the pump petrol stations?
My PO card got switched to Jaja and when I tried to use it to refuel about a month ago it said that the card is not recognised by this pump. I spoke to Jaja who said that they knew of no reason why it should be a problem and asked me if I had made a Chip and Pin transaction since getting the card, I was pretty sure that I had but I deliberately used the card for a purchase in store to make certain.
I have just tried using the card at the Tesco pump again and I still get the card not recognised message.
You still can't pay for petrol at the pump with a JaJa credit card. I contacted them through direct message on Twitter recently and they told me "it appears there is an issue with our BIN (Bank Identification Number) being recognised by some merchants"
