Hey all,
My mates are looking for their first credit card as they want to build a credit history and told me If I have any suggestions as they want a credit card with a  interest reduction on the card every year like Barclays forward card. So does anyone know any other credit card companies offer credit card with a interest reduction every year if you managed the card well?

Are you sure it’s your mates that want these card or really you? Especially as you’ve asked this on another thread with regards to the Post Office credit card!?!

The only card similar to Barclaycard Forward that has rate reduction if you manage your card well is the Aqua Advance credit card.

Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

Tell your mates they don't need a card with reducing interest, because they won't be paying interest.

And if they are, then you need to get considerably smarter mates.

Rahman, you keep applying for any and every credit card you can think of, once told - stop doing it - your mates do the same. Get another hobby and change your mates.

Managing a card well means you pay no interest. So therefore - ANY card is suitable to build a positive credit history, as they (you) will no doubt pay off the card in full each and every month, and by doing so, won't be charged interest.

Cards are not free money. Whatever you spend on them - you have to have the ability to pay them back at the next statement.

Sure - cards are useful for genuine dire emergencies - but they shouldn't be seen as an extension of your bank balance.

There are countless threads here of people who have, for one reason or another, reached their credit limits and are struggling to deal with the payments. Educate your mates (and yourself) not to become one of them.
