Keep checking MCOL weekly to check it's been received , the CCBC will then pass to your nominated local court and no further info will be on MCOL , so await Court orders from that local court4

Update - I just checked MCOL again today, which confirmed that the DQ had been received. It also had the following entry "Notification that the claim against you was discontinued was received on 29/03/2021 at 19:11:37"
So it looks like that is that! Thanks for your help everyone.6 -

Nice outcome. It's just so maddening that these charlatans can drop a time bomb into your lap, leaving you all the work, frustration and angst to defuse it. One thing's for certain, had you not done the work, there would have been no discontinuation! Roll on the introduction of the new Code of Practice.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
