Cadent Gas Advice

hi dont know if im posting in right place, ive recieved a letter from Cadent gas saying that there has been no gas supply contract in place at my flat from 2017 to 2019 but i didnt move in untill November 2019, surely i dont have to pay for this, advice appreicated thanks ?

Cadent are a  Gas network owner - They install all the pipe work in their area -, They don't send out Gas bills to customers

The billing is down to your chosen supplier, who is this supplier and when did you register with them

It could be that there were problems with supplier registry in 2017/2019, which may be or maybe not, the fault of the customer living in the dwelling at that time, but its nothing to do with you.

As posted.  As long as you registered when you moved in. The account is in your name. And you are paying your Bill's.
