Garden Brick Wall Rebuild

Hi trying to gauge expectations for quotes to rebuild a brick garden wall.
I have a single skin brick wall that measures 1.8 x 7m with 4 piers (one at either end with 2 interspaced). The wall is past it use by date and needs knocking down and rebuilding with new.
So far I've had a couple of quotes around £3k. Initially I'm thinking this is a bit high. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
TIA

A couple of sites suggest that a garden wall can be built for a typical cost of around £100 per square meter. There will also be a day's work removing the old wall.0

Bricklayers are in short demand at the moment and as they usually work as a 2 or 3 man team charging anything from £300 to £400 a day (2brikies/1 labourer) & it would take then 2/3 days to build a wall without the pillars. Then there is the removal of the bricks & rebuilding 4 pillars, the new bricks, new or repair old wall foundation & if they use a mini digger thats £250 a day. Ask them for a breakdown of the quote. But as always the price depends on where in the uk you live.
