Alicant to Benidorm - Recommendations Needed

Does anybody have any recommendations of getting to benidorm from alicante airport please.

How much does the taxi cost ?

or

Are there coaches that take you to the resort like if you booked a package holiday?

I'd think the taxi would be Very expensive - I go to Alicante airport most years and head to Torrevieja and the taxi is usually around 50 euros - so add on another good bit to that - as i think benidorm is quite far...though i'm maybe getting my geography wrong!

Anyway, i'm always told spanish buses are good, and personally I would try one of the spanish websites to try and figure out if there will be buses on teh go when you come off the plane.

You'll find loads of taxi's at the airport. Benidorm is about an hour from Alicante airport. I think you would probably find the cost to be around £50/£60 as Irishorangutan previously said.

If you have booked a villa or something similar perhaps you could ask the owner the best/cheapest way to get there? They should help you.
