IHT Forms Issue with Filling in (fields not accessible)

I have started to fill in the 14 IHT forms I need for my Mum's IHT application and quickly found that virtually every IHT schedule form had at least one but usually more field which doesn't exist so cannot be typed in. Eg Look at IHT411 and section 2 - I can fill in all fields except the fields that should be in column for value. - Perhaps somebody could download a fresh copy and try?
I use a Mac and downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader which works fine apart from those fields where it doesn't work. I have also tried on a PC with Adobe Acrobat Reader and Cute pdf Professional with the same results.
I spoke to the Helpline this morning and they confirmed to me that they need hard copies of all the forms anyway so they are going to send me the IHT pack (joy!).
So this post is a heads up for those who were hoping to fill in and print the pdf forms and maybe if anyone knows if it's soluble as it would still be good to fill in and print the forms.

That field (column with white background not blue) is automatically calculated from the other fields you input. That's what happened on my mother's forms and I have just tried it again with the same result. It all works for me.0

Ah right. So I am on my work computer (PC) and went into the form and the on-line pdf does what you say. I then saved the form on my computer and sure enough it works! So I'll download all the forms again on my work computer - It seems the Mac is not saving the file properly. Will be interesting to see if it works on the PC and then the Mac messes it up again. I'll check and feedback later.
Many thanks0 -
Ok. So I downloaded all the forms again and sent them to my Mac. Then opened in Adobe Reader and same problem - doesn't auto-calculate that field. Then moved files onto a laptop (Windows) and sure enough it works. So it is clearly something the Mac is doing to the file.
Just need to decide now if I fill in on the PC and then print or fill in the paper copies I will receive soon!0
