Hi
We have just changed our Lloyds TSB Classic current account from my wifes name to joint names. Her cheque book is still in her name only. As the account number is still the same will she still be able to use those cheques?

I did! The girl in Delhi didn't really understand what a cheque book was unfortunately!!0 -
I *guess* she only wouldn't be able to use it if the account had be designated as "two to sign"0

If the account number is the same she can use the cheques. They will go through automatically and no-one will notice or care if they do.
In practice though probably not legally you could as well - all they check is that there is a signature for low value cheques, unless they have been asked to 'watch' the account.0 -
