PCN 47J at CLOSED bus stop

Hi, I'd appreciate some help please. I've received a PCN from Kingston Borough Council for stopping at a bus stop. Whilst I can't deny I did stop momentarily, it was literally for the 10 seconds that their footage shows (while I collected my partner from his evening shift) AND the bus stop is clearly marked as Closed - Not in Use. This is shown in the photos attached to the PCN. Yes I stopped, but at a bus stop that was not in action. Does anyone know if this legally adds any weight to challenging the alleged offence? Thanks.
