Hi Sorry if I have put this in the wrong place but I havn't got the hang of the forum yet. At the moment I am only entering Magazine type comps which are just basically a raffle with no skill whatsoever Are these worth entering? and also I have noticed that there are several different sites ie Take a break, Bella etc. that have the same comps, I am assuming you can enter on each site, which means that I am sending in approx 300 entries a day but not entering 300 comps. So I am just wondering if I am wasting my time. Thank you for your help.Ms_Dee said:
I used to enter between 50-100+ a day on average, and win anywhere from 2-12 wins a month, mainly Facebook and Gleam wins. But haven't been having much luck recently, but starting to get my numbers back up, from a few months lacking. I think the odds are less now as there is more people comping, especially due to social media exposure and lockdown.Hedgehugs said:New to Comping - How many entries to you submit a day to get a win on average?
February 2021 I won a Digital copy of the film Away, which I entered for via Gleam and it's worth £4.99.
Taking my total 2021 wins up to 2x worth a total of £13.98 😕
Just grateful I won something each month, even if it is little, it can help keep you going.
I also got 250 nectar points for updating the app, not a competition as such but a random amount like everyone.1 -
The Mag ones a worth doing, i have won on them. The ones where you chose the numbers arent worth it but if you have the time theres always a small chance. Take advantage of the other comps that are on here, the more you enter the more chance you have of winnning. Set up an email address that you use just for comps so your normal one isnt flooded with newslettersHedgehugs said:
